Reflection

One of Rook's ears (the one ripped in half) seemed to go limp and drop instantly and he diddn't flinch when her paw landed on the delicate surface of the old paper pack with a resounding smack!. He nodded consensually "Yes, I guess insulting people isn't my forte, I'm more of the intimidation type, but anyone who's known me long enough can see through that as well. Forgive me for being sappy-ass, but there's not all that much to work with in your case. You've gotten strong".

It was rare for him, Mr. Rogers From Hell, to admit to something like that...but that last thing she'd said had caught him off guard, he diddn't look offended, just thoughtful, too distracted to bother sifting through his language.

He.... wasn't homosexual of course, that was ridiculous, after all he'd still unconsciously appreciated watching Vice do her little work out routine like any normal pervert, right? He just diddn't act on it, it wasn't unheard of to be...abstinent, even if you were a drunken killer.

...right?

Vice's muzzle pulled into a crooked grin, her eyes narrowing. "Aww ya big bastard..." She said in a surprisingly warm tone, almost attacking him in one leap, mussing the hair on the top of his head with a fist grinding into his skull. "Stop trying to butter me up like that. I know you don't think that much of me." She growled playfully, her tail wrapping around him for balance as she sat on the back of the couch, an arm wrapping around his neck in a loose headlock.

Her boredom had finely gotten the best of her, and she was forced to pick on someone, her target poor Rook, who only seemed to be trying to read. It was true that she was over energetic, probably to the point of being annoying sometimes. It was better than being aggressive though, her pent up frustrations venting in less violent ways.

The older man could probably handle it though, he'd known her for a while, and was probably used to this sort of thing coming from her.
