Zarek had been around Rook to know what the man was self-deprecating. He never let himself say anything good about him. When the tiger heard the wolverine start talking about how he was ‘No catch’ the younger man couldn’t help but roll his eyes before sitting up.
“First off, you aren’t a fruit or a fairy or a butt pirate. You are simply finding another person to share your life with. That is all. I mean you don’t like other men, so it isn’t like you are gay. Unlike me at least.” He gave a little smirk.
“As for not being good enough for me, apparently you forget how every fucking woman looks at you. I swear it is like watching hobos drooling over a piece of steak. For me to get the prize every woman wants makes me more then happy.
“There is only one thing I can complain about. You are always trying to put yourself down. If I didn’t find you attractive then I would have never kissed you. I did though because I do find you one hot mama. Now if you keep bringing yourself down around me I might have to be forced to end the relationship. We can’t have that now can we?”
