((OMG OMG OMG SORRY SORRY SORRY...for some reason I totally thought I had posted to this and had been wondering why you hadn't posted yet...wow!!! Me=idiot!))
Adeline got up with him, Groves's fingers intertwining with her own. She was still on a little bit of a high from the kiss, and almost literally bounded up.
"Well," Adie said uneasily, yet still playful, "the thing is...It's kinda locked up in the safe right now...you know...the top secret one underneath your house? You should really check your security down there by the way."
She smiled sheepishly. "I need you to change the lock and location of the safe and don't tell me alright? Just in case they torture me when the Angels find me?"
Of course, the tiger wasn't planning on being tortured by anyone, but it was safe to have precautions. She was too street savvy to be caught and tortured. She and the Angels would meet when she wanted it, where she wanted, how she wanted it, and who she wanted it with. This plan was the Caves, with Rook. And it would happen; Adeline knew it would. In fact, it would happen in just a couple of days if she was counting on the Angels to be as incompetent as they had shown in the past.
