Hey guys,
Lately I've been trying to come up with a way to move the plot forward but we have a major speedbump: after the activity check it became clear that a lot of the characters made before are inactive and thus in some areas were are left barer than others.
There is a particular idea for a plot involving the Angels, the framing of an innocent Angel of treason and the real traitor getting away with it, leading to mass media coverage and criticism and as general swing towards the Council's point of view.
But I also want to raise the point that there's no point in doing a plot like this unless there's some intense relationships being built within the guild, if there's no emotion it all falls flat because there's no reason to care.
So here's what I'm asking: If you have an Angel character, RP with other Angel characters, build relationships with them, be them friends, enemies, teachers or bullies, do it!
If you don't have an Angel character, make one and do the same.
The Angels are only a part of the plot, but this plot will lead to other ones that involve the whole city,and I need to be able to call on these characters later on.
Please reply to this thread as well, we need to discuss our ideas and opinions.

possible idea for the framed one, I'm making another character who is Karanass's brother, he's an angel who gave up his left eye for the guild

Well, Texas already volunteered to play DeSoto as the one who is framed--and put to death, but it would be useful if people got to know him better before this eventuality, and decided to fight for his freedom or his punishment.
Also, we need someone who really IS the traitor, and the one that someone is working for, or handing the information to.

He could do that, after all, he has just as many reasons to hold a grudge, so he could be leaking information to his brother

I read his biography, and it works well, but he'd need to be leaking it to someone with a lot more political power than Adeline's gang, who have virtually none at this point.
Possibly someone in the Council or a business owner with a lot of money.

How much political power does the Adino family have?
And I'm not gonna make an Angel character...I wouldn't be able to properly RP with it. Adeline is my character mixed up in all that stuff...making an angel, or council member would be weird...
well...maybe i could make an angel...but under one condition...could he sacrifice his sanity?

-blush- I'm sorry if I came on strong, I diddn't mean "do it or ban" just if you want to participate in this plot, since it concerns mainly the Angels.
o.o I suppose he could, it would take a very keen familiarity with him and the Gates, he might actually be considered special because the Gates 'took' his sanity or something.
I'd actually never thought of that before. What could an insane person do for the Guild? He'd have to be very talented, and maybe they'd appoint a few Fledglings (perhaps studying for psychology and humanitarian powers, to watch over him).

This is relevant to my interests.
I've been hankering to write up a character that would actually help with a plot and over group role play. I haven't yet figure out what kind of character that'd be. So if there's anything for this that I can help with via character or otherwise I'd love to.

If your up for it, we seriously need a Seraphim character looming above all this (I'd be willing to make one as well, I've been thinking of it, so you'd have someone to RP with at least) , also as I mentioned before someone powerful, possibly in the Council who'd be employing the traitor, and would benefit from the media turning on the Angels for falsely convicting (and executing) the wrong person.

I'd be up for making Seraph. A guide to do that might be nice. Just a little more info. I'm sure you've done more thinking then this forums explains.
I kinda had a council member thought up and I could tweek it to fit the plot. But I'm definitely only up for one character so far. Whichever is more important is fine.
Not sure if I'm being ignorant but would a Seraph possibly have motivation for a dubious scheme? If that's possible we could kill two birds with one stone on that one.
Lol I might have to get Rook into pms to work this out. I definitely wanna see this place go somewhere.

(A Seraph in general would just be a powerful plot tool, we could use to get things moving, give out orders and incite suspicion and a sense of danger. )
There are a lot of things that I've kept out of the 'files mainly because I don't want to overload people with information to the point that it becomes tiresome. ^^' sorry if your confused, maybe I should rethink that.
The Serpahim would probably be the ones who would be most affected by a media war, because it's them that would have to speak for the entire Guild and on their behalf, it's possible that some of them could be double dealing however, as in, having drug cartels and other such shady organizations pay them to keep the rest of the Guild of their tails but it's more likely that it would be a movement of the Council since they've been fighting to get the public to see their point of view for the last generation.

Dang, that just sounds like a heavy load on my very not confident shoulders. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for being a Seraph if it'll help but I might need some severe hand holding in the beginning. I thrive on information. I'm not so much confused as lost. I don't wanna go ruining your whole creation here with some character that doesn't fit. And I don't wanna seem stupid and uncreative. Just really really helpful.  But it definitely sounds like you want a Seraph over a Council member. If you're up for giving me a hand I'm all over it. You can flood me with as much information as you'd like. :3 Also as far as information on this site. You've got a good thing going. The guides you've been developing and the active member lists are fabulous help. I know this is a group creative project so it's nice to have what's been made consolidated into something you can read. It's just that the Seraph's are a little bald so to speak. |
