Sykes reacted swiftly he lunged at the side and pinned Smith down against the seat, drawing out his gun and pressing it against the wolf's head. "I won't ask you again sir, back off" he said slowly. "Your going to regret laying a hand on an Angel".
Sykes was suprised and pissed off with Smith, but he was actually more worried for him than angry, if the Doberman could see he was handling it, maybe he wouldn't kill the injured wolf.

"Take care of the bastard." DeSoto let out a string of profanities as he got out of the car. If Sykes hadn't jumped in when he did the wolf would have had his body broken into so many places that he would wish he was dead. The doberman still considered going back and breaking each of the man's finger and then toes, and so on and so forth until his anger was gone.
Moving over to one of the medics that had been left behind to help anyone that may need if he told he they rat, in don't so nice words, to fix the thing before he got blood anywhere else. With a loud stream of profanities issued from the dog's mouth again as the medic put his nose back into place.

Smith only stood still as he felt the cold barrel of that pistol put to his head as Sykes tried to take control of the situation. The wolf had to give him credit for trying, but he knew that Sykes was no tough guy, and was only keeping up the act for his 'friend'. It was the common scenario where the tough prick had a follower trying to be cool like him, and right now, it really wasn't working so well. Smith sighed softly and spoke, "If you say so. Can't be much worse than what's happened to me so far."
Outdoing the bloody mess that had been done on Smith would take some time in the thinking box. Smith held up his bloodied paws though, letting Sykes know he was done...until the doberman tried something later, and he knew that the doberman would try something later. If Smith were in his position, none of this would have happened really. They would have gone back to the headquarters already instead of having a broken nose and such. Besides, Smith wasn't one to hold grudges or get revenge, though sometimes he'd get pissed enough to do so...For the doberman's sake, he better not be the one to piss Smith off that much.

Sykes curled his lip grimly, this guy was far too cocky for his own good, or at leas the did a fair job of making himself seem that way. Nevertheless, Smith was injured and wanted for questioning and no one...no one would upset the balance of how things worked in the raccoon's life so much as to deter him from his job. His job was the rope that held everything else together, including his social life and physical and mental health. He would not be rattled.
Wide yellow eyes blinking a moment he turned from the wolf "Just sit tight" he muttered, shifted and turned the big car around, the bulky black shape lingering for quite a distance before dissapearing into the fog.
