No New Posts Wallside Cafe

A local haunt with a bit of a more slow paced crowd, drawing raspy tongued old sailors, secretaries and freelance pilots, who laugh loudly and constrictedly over diner esque tables, polished so smoothly you can quite see your face in them. The owner of the bar is a little eccentric, thus, obscure music booms from the jukebox in the corner and orders zoom back and forth via a kind of sliding clothesline wire connected on the ceiling, a hilarious parody of the St. Lucent Express bullet train. The pancake puffs are really really really good.

No New Posts Angelo's

Angelo's is perhaps the evil twin of the Wallside Cafe, for they both have their claim to fame by being so comfortably installed at ridiculous altitudes but in nature they are like a water pistol to a machine gun.

Angelo's, being a bar and grill has terrible food but really good beer, above the main building a fully functional hover board floats (with enforced netting and fencing all around it of coarse). On this giant twirling disk there is a lounge with only flashing cross beams as any kind of light source, with an open air roof for access through sky boarding and a great view of the night sky above, you can see the beams of Angelo's all the way across the city as clear as the wall, and the faint thrumming of the music rings in even the deafest ears.

Also below even the lounge is a smaller dome shaped disk with a net pouched below it for the sole purpose of the violent game "Pack".

No New Posts The Walk

Akin to the atmosphere of sea birds and billowing coats, the Walk is very like a board walk except it's about a thousand times higher up, a meager fenced railing with ramps at every other point for those crazy sky boarders are installed but it's little protection for the foolish, sometimes deaths randomly occur amidst the commerce and it almost seems like people were thrown from the wall.

Nearly every inhabitant of St. Lucent is taught from when they are old enough to walk the golden rule: Respect the Gates and it respects you, so the edges are commonly avoided and new tourists are always cautioned upon entering the city.

Despite this fearsome reputation the Walk is a happy place, full of street performers, airo-dancers, mimes and chalk artists. On the left side the sides of the walk is packed with street vendors and outdoor markets, the mixture of scents can leave you almost as light headed as the high altitudes and cold air. The smell of the sea is never fully masked though, and this is probably a good thing because it is wholly pleasant if slightly daunting.

No New Posts The Drop

The Drop is actually an enormous grassy hill that reaches elevations as high as the gates themselves to far far under ground where an industrial cave is kept, is almost as mysterious as the Gates themselves, but unlike them it is completely forbidden to anyone who does not wear the identification mark of the Hourglass Guild. Angels pass back and forth from the heavy duty fencing barbing every corner of the area, without the identification your in trouble, and if you mean harm here, your as good as dead.
