Personality: Gabriel is, well, eccentric. More than eccentric. There really isn't a proper word to describe him, except, perhaps, insane. Here's a proper description. Think of a mad scientist's personality. Then think of Albus Dumbledore's personality. Magically mush them together and VOILA! You almost get the level of Gabriel's personality.
Gabriel's a nice person, he really is. However, there are some times where he just...is out of it. He is known to stare off into space, mutter under his breath, see things that aren't there, and break out into violent fits that sometimes verge into seizures.
The reason? Well, some say that his sacrifice was his mind. Others say that he never sacrificed it. The Gates just took it. Still others think he was always a strange kid and that he got into the Angels without actually sacrificing anything. Whatever the reason, he's a bit messed up. His brain is a tad bit fried. When he is in one of his moods or gets put down for some reason or another, he tends to bow his head, shamed, and mutter "silly rabbit, Trix are for kids."
Gabriel enjoys bursting into song and dancing in the rain. However, he's often stuck inside for fear of him saying something he shouldn't in public. He is known to blurt out secrets, not quite understanding that they need to be kept quiet. Over all, he has the mentality of a five year old combined with the wisdom inherent in the elders of ancient Native American tribes. Many enjoy his company, for the sheer pleasure that they are reassured that there will always be someone crazier than them.
(Dana is determined. She has a job: keep Gabriel in check, and she means to do that job to the best of her ability. She is very intuitive, recently majoring in psychology from the university. As she is still nothing but an apprentice, she has not sacrificed anything yet. However, although she is Gabriel's "keeper", he is technically her mentor and, when told to perform a task in order to test her, it is her duty to listen. She is very loyal, and though she has a sense of humor, she doesn't let it show. She likes to work and is a busybody. She has become immune to Gabriel's outbursts, and though it seems like she is almost like a strict prison warden, she loves the older man as a father. He has given her much advice over the year and she has benefited greatly in her position. Because of her job, she has been let in on Seraphim meetings and is privy to certain information. If she ever fails at her job, she knows she will be killed. She knows too much. Because of this, she tends to be straight-minded and serious.)
Appearance: Gabriel is 5'9" and lean. He is a pure white rabbit with beautiful sky blue eyes that always have a twinkle in them. He has been known to wear a straitjacket once or twice, but that was never his choice. However, he is normally all dressed up. Black tux, long coattails, top hat, and a cane are the garments he is normally seen in, especially at all meetings and in public. However, find him at home and he'll be sporting super spiffy pajamas.
Gabriel's eyes are beady and his whiskers long, but he has no "beard" per say. However, he has let his hair grow out, and it ended up looking like his puffy little tail so common to cottontail rabbits. It's like a white afro, crazy and mad scientist like.
(Dana is long and thin, with little curves. She is always dressed professionally, keeps her dirty blonde hair tightly tied back in a pony tail, and wears glasses. I think that's about it that's necessary to know about her)
Background: Gabriel grew up with a healthy education in his West Lucent home with married parents and a twin brother, Hunter. He excelled in school, was very intuitive, and always had a great liking for psychics and mind reading...fringe science, it was called. He always wanted to be an angel, for two reasons: they made all the money, and they had the coolest departments. He always wanted to be a detective of some sort, or work with experiments on things like telekinesis and teleportation and such. He studied at college, double majoring in Psychology and Chemistry, and then became an apprentice. After intensive studying, before he had officially become a fledging (though he was doing work most fledgings did) was when the Gates first talked to him. He thought he had gone crazy, that it was all in his head, and the voice went away. Or so he had thought. ALthough he didn't know it, the Gates kept talking to him in his subconcious. There were a few times he had lapses in his memory and couldn't recall anything. He was being programmed by the Gates without him knowing it. When it finally came to the official ceremony of naming Gabriel a fledging and having him sacrifice to the Gates, he acted, literally, without thinking. If you asked him to this day, he can tell you he remembers nothing of the day except a powerful pain in his head and then blackness. According to witnesses, he had yelled out, arms spread wide, palms upward "I SACRIFICE MY MIND"
Since then Gabriel has become increasingly more eccentric as the Gates mess with his brain, their brain. He has also become wiser and smarter though. He has accomplished things that people would have never thought of him. Recently he became a Seraphim. He was promoted for very different reasons. One was because he was so extremely intellligent that making him a Seraphim seemed like the right choice, the only choice. However, it was also so that the other Seraphim could help keep him in check.
(Dana's history is mainly irrelevant. Her mother was criminally insane and it made her want to be a psychologist, and an Angel, because she hated the criminality. She majored in psychology and is now studying to become a fledgling. Her dedication to understanding Gabriel caused the other Seraphim to approach her about becoming his personal assistant. Soon she will be advancing to Fledgling. She is, at the moment, deciding on what to sacrifice)
