The Sunset on Our World
Dear Reader,
.................I just don't know what happened.... There were treaties in place to prevent things like this happening, but.... Where should I start? The War? The Mystics? It just happened so fast, yet we all knew it was coming. I'll start with a statement that should be able to explain itself. The third world war of our beloved earth has begun. There are three obvious sides; the two old enemies, the Allies and the Axis, and the newer Middle Eastern Side. Those two sentances shoud surely bring images of death and destruction to mind, but that's not all.
Three years ago, a year before the war started, the Mystics were discovered. The Mystics are creatures of myth that we have always denied existed or persecuted. Things like vampires, djinn, spinxes, dragons and more..... As soon as the world found that they were real they were almost imediatly victims of hate crimes and worse. Now they fight on their own side in the war, even if the humans just see tham as bothersome creatures that must be exterminated.
We are all being forced to do wrongs we would never dream of, I hope that the good in people survives this war. All I hope for is peace, but we won't be seeing that for a long time.
