Melinda stumbled into her room as she fought back the other, much nastier side to herself. Even with her best efforts, she still couldn't hold it back. She felt like her head was about to split open. Before she lost complete control of what she was doing, she made he way over to the door and locked it. That was when it all went to hell. She felt her senses sharpen to almost scalpel-like levels as her mind became more feral and aggressive. She knew that this wouldn't be the last time this would happen, but at least she knew that they eventually faded away every time.
