Personality:
Although a Junior in high school, Danté acts very much like a small child. She is very, very shy and stumbles over her words often. When around people she is unfamiliar with, she tends to stay quiet unless she has business with them. Having been brought up the right way, she's very polite and respectful to everyone. She can be friendly and enjoys being sociable, but she just can't bring herself to start a conversation with a possible friend/ally. However, when around people she has already befriended, Danté is a generally happy person. Her default expression is usually either a bright, genuine smile or a meek, nervous one.
She is the kind of person who smiles at the smallest things and laughs easily. However, she will also start to cry at the smallest things. At first glance, one might think that she is a depressed person. Her eyes tend to reflect a deep sadness, though it disappears when a conversation begins.
In school, she does her absolute best to excel in all over her classes, striving to have the best grades she can possibly get. Even though she's a meek person, she gets confident whenever a job is assigned to her. She believes that if she puts her mind to something, she can get it done. Although, if things don't go the way they are supposed to, she's awfully quick to start crying. Unfortunately, once she gets too insecure or starts crying, she gets very clumsy and can't seem to get anything right until she can manage to calm down.
Danté is also quite the melodious vocalist. She loves to sing in her spare time, but she’s still shy in that department, too. She doesn’t like to sing in front of other people unless there’s someone else singing with her. She also likes to play the violin, although she left her favorite one back home with her parents.
Appearance:
Danté has smoky blue-grey fur with open black rosettes filled in with spots of light brown. Her fur is extremely thick, so she can withstand the weather. Upon her paws, even the pads are packed tightly with fur to act almost as built-in snow shoes. Adding to her fur, she has about shoulder-length, puffy blue-grey hair with seemingly random black streaks. With her tail just as thick as her hair, it’s about 85 centimeters long. Whenever her face is a bit cold, she curls up and uses her tail to keep her nose warm. Her eye color is a mix of silver with faint speckles of gold. She stands at 5½ feet tall, making her a smidge short for her age.
Her style in clothing is that of an honors student, or more widely known as a nerdy style. Although she makes sure to avoid little things like pocket-protectors and the like, she often wears a snow white polo shirt along with a plaid, navy blue sweater-vest. As for bottoms-wear, she alternates between long skirts and thick jeans (both long enough to cover her feet completely, often making her trip and/or fall). Since her feet are already comparable to snow shoes, she some times forgets to put on her snow white boots before going out into St. Lucent.
Around her neck, she wears a teardrop-shaped real sapphire on a thick black choker. This was a gift her parents gave to her after her first singing contest, but its appearance is very similar to a dog's collar. Danté, however, never noticed this and simply wears it because its one of few things her mother and father gave to her out of (what she believes to be) love.
Background:
Having been brought up in West Lucent, Danté was brought up in a relatively nice environment. Her parents weren't exactly rich, but they made enough money to live comfortably with a few extras here and there. Another thing about her parents is that they were the types that wanted her to be at the top of her class in school, no matter the subject. As an only child, if she didn't meet their expectations, she was treated cruelly (both mentally and physically). With those memories scarring her mind, she's become the timid kitten that everyone sees today. She always tries to push herself to her limit in order to please her parents, so with the people she's befriended, she does the same.
When she was younger, she joined in on a local Talent Show, showing off her voice to those who attended. It was then that she first saw her parents being proud of her. After this, she continued singing, hoping to please them into smiling for her more often.
Her mother and father later suggested that she enlist with the Angels to put herself to good use, so by their wishes, she joined. However, when she was told to give something precious to her up, she was at a loss. She treasured her time with her parents when they were proud of her, and although she tried to think of something else, she simply couldn't. Danté gave up contact with her family, leaving herself unable to return to her home in West Lucent to even retrieve some of the items she accidentally left behind.
