Character Information
Canon: No…
Character Name: Micah Perry Sanzio…
Gender: Male…
Age: Twenty…
Species/Breed: Black Squirrel…
Current Occupation: Owner of the Blue Moose Donut Shop; also is a member of “Adeline's gang”…
Personality: Micah is a sweet and shy little guy. He is honest and loyal, though very timid. Underneath this cute demeanor is a need to prove himself and to rebel against the things he considers evil in people. Though overly shy when it comes to expressing his views, he is surprisingly daring when pushed. He is very reasonable and rational, but hot-tempered. Still, he is always the gentleman and does his best to be patient. A very noble squirrel, until he is faced with his life on the line, he can be quite resourceful and rather unfair. Micah is a serious fellow with a humble attitude, though sometimes the irony of the world gets to him. All aside about him being a sweet little chap, Micah is a very dirty closet-pervert (SURPRISE!!!)…
Appearance: Micah is a fragile build, ebony-colored squirrel with short, spiky hair that have streaks of midnight blue and dark green, which resemble oil, and a matching tail. His eyes are a dazzling shade of jade with flints of silver and gold. Though rather young, his body is scarred with obvious marks of torture. Micah has pert paws and an energetic manner, though it is not often noticeable through his shy attitude. At work he dresses in dark, trimmed sweaters or an intricate vest, with iron grey, corduroy pants. While running errands he tops of his outfit with one of his thick scarves, an iron grey fleece jacket, synthetic suede gloves, and his expensive anti-gravity moccasins that he recently bought instead of having to rent a hover cab all the time. ((Note: the technology on applying anti-gravity on small objects is still mainly kept from the public at the moment, on account of its potential danger with terroristic attacks, and is still only strong enough for people to jump many meters or float for half a minute before it needs to recharge.)) While working with Adeline’s gang, he wears all black with a heat sensors shield built into the fabric. ((Note: this technology is also mainly kept from the public, Micah has the suit illegally.))…
Background: Kenneth was an Arch-Angel who was happily married to a fellow Angel and had two children. Cindy was a librarian at the Red Pavilion. They both knew each other quite well, how could they not? After all, they were very close cousins. One summer, Kenneth and Cindy had an affair that lasted a week, but continued in the form of Cindy’s pregnancy. Kenneth panicked at the thought of his position among the Angels being compromised and quickly tried to convince Cindy to have an abortion. Cindy, however, refused, even after he began to bribe her with large amounts of money. Finally, driven to the point of frenzy, Kenneth, now a Seraph, ordered her assassination. But when the assassin arrived, she had already fled. Kenneth spent months tracking her down. The only thing that kept Cindy alive was the fact that one of Kenneth’s daughters, her niece, kept her hidden. Months passed, and Cindy eluded Kenneth’s grasp with the help of his daughter, but in the end nothing escapes a fanatic Angel. She was found in the eve of night, her throat recently slashed, life-blood pouring from her black neck. Cindy was rushed to Beacon Community Hospital. Though they labored all through the rest of the night, the doctors were only able to save the premature baby. Micah was so under-developed the doctors risked performing a very controversial procedure that could save his life. Delilah, the Fledgling who was Kenneth’s daughter, underwent the surgery that prepared her body for the baby, and then Micah was placed in her womb. She denounced her father and closed all contact from her family; many thought this was her Sacrifice, but it was so her father would never discover Micah, her real Sacrifice was protecting Micah for the rest of her life. Delilah eventually gave birth to a very sick Micah, who was born with a breathing problem. Quite rapidly he recovered and was discharged from the hospital, however. Delilah fell in love and married an otter who owned the Blue Moose Donut Shop. They both raised Micah very lovingly. Even when they told Micah he was adopted, he felt there could never be someone else that could love him so much. Micah was an average lad, who had plenty of friends and enemies, nothing special that made him stand out. Nothing to indicate that he wanted to be an Angel like Delilah. But he did, and was soon shot down when he was forbidden to have anything to do with the Angels by his adoptive parents. Dejected, Micah went on with his life, plotting to prove that he was good enough. Life went on in its pleasant fashion; he finished High School and began considering what to major in college while he worked over the summer at his father’s restaurant. Delilah, now an Arch-Angel, wished often that he could join her as an Angel, for she often believed that he was meant to be a protector of the weak like her. On day, she did not return from one of those missions. Her family, gathered at her Burning to mourn the loss of her fiery spirit. There they met her son, Micah. Kenneth, now an old Seraph, was immediately suspicious and had Micah’s DNA tested. When the results came in with their obvious result, Kenneth’s old frenzy returned. He had Micah arrested and brought in for “interrogation”. Through those two days, Micah went through the emotional shock of learning his past and the physical shock of being tortured. After Kenneth believed him ready, he forced Micah to swear that he would never reveal who he was. Through the screams, Kenneth got the satisfaction of knowing his secret was safe. Micah was released after being quickly stitched up, and taken to his house. There he healed with delirious dreams and fragments of the truth by his side. He dreamed of revenge, and of meeting Delilah and Cindy in a warm and comforting place. Months passed, and soon Micah was fully healed. His plots of revenge were short lived, however, when he received word of Kenneth’s death. This was soon followed by Micah’s adoptive father retiring and letting him take over the Blue Moose Donut Shop. Micah went through the motions, never caring if the system he knew too well was purged of its evil. After a year of complicity, he began hearing word of an uprising that was being formed. Using a surprising resourcefulness in gathering information, Micah discovered Adeline’s gang. He spent a month deciding how much he wanted to protect like Delilah died doing. In the end, he joined, and though he has yet to prove himself as a loyal member, he is an obviously good addition to the team…

Sam- It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something.
Frodo- What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam- That there's some good in the world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.
