Is this world for real... or is it just a wild dream?
Or better yet...
A nightmare?
Our world is not the same as we know it. It balances precarly over the line, barely able to maintain itself.
The fault? The humans, of course. This greedy race managed to decode the DNA to its core, thanks to a worldwide laboratorial enterprise called BioShift. With a single shot of their drugs, they could mutate and mix their genes with the ones of other living animals on the planet. Mythological creatures and supreheros could be seen on the next door or turning the corner of the street. Now everyone could understand what their pets said and reply to them on the animal's language. Anything was possible for them, truly.
But it wasn't just all rainbows and ponies...
Soon the power lusting leaders started to envy eachothers' lands and resources more than ever, and epic battles were engaged with the mutated armies.
These humans slowly lost the ability to love and to racionate, becoming avid deformed beasts, hungry for more power, and were called "Inhumans".
The scientists were enslaved to fulfill the monters' needs for more destructive bio weapons. The civilian masses heard the desperate plea from their pets and abandoned their human bodies through technology, using chips to reborn on regular animals and hide from the ruthless armies.
Luckily, the scientist from BioShift managed to contact the reborn human survivors, which group was called as UniCell. Making a secret alliance, they tricked the Inhumans by telling hem that their "enemies" wouldn't expect a less destructive but more massive attack.
Believing them, the Inhumans started to regress to the dark ages, throwing away fire guns to simple bows and arrows and swords.
Soon, their "power"was nothing, and the BioShift broke free from slavery and joined the UniCell on the wild.
...Nowadays
Earth slowly starts to rebuild itself. The devastated cities now belong to the BioShift survivors. These hybrids of humans and animals live now peacefully in harmony with the nature and the UniCell members, scattered through the globe, using animal hosts to live and walk among their wild brothers.
Inhumans still walk around the planet, killing anything that moves. UniCell warriors try to find and slay these freaks, while the BioShift wants to find an answer to why they are still alive, and how their numbers doesn't seem to decrease.
Now the question that remains...
Will you stand and fight for your planet?
How will you help?
Who will you be?
How will you help?
Who will you be?
A warrior animal, fighting for your life on the battlefield?
Or a humble scientist, playing God on the backstages?
Your choice...
