Character Name: Faith
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Species/Breed: Cheetah, Lion, Black Panther
Current Occupation: Baker Odyssian
Personality: Cold, heartless, and ruthless is how many would describe her. But its not her fault she's a pessimist, it's just the way she was raised: always seeing the darkness and never the light so why should she see things different now? The only good thing that's came out of her past is her "twin" brother Marc.
Marc is the only one in Faiths heart, and he probably is going to be the only one for a long, long time. That's because she keeps everyone at bay so that when they die it doesn't effect her the slightest, even if she's the one killing them. Like she always says, "We're all going to die so why does it matter?" The only lives that matter to her is her own and Marc's: anyone else can take care of them selves or join the ranks of the dead for all she cares.
Though she can fight, her specialty is spying. The only reason for that is because she can pretend that she had a normal life of loving parents, siblings, and friends. Though she knows its imposable, she wishes for that type of life: one far far away from experiments, and fighting. That's another reason why she loves Marc: he's like the protective older brother she never had. On spying missions, she always shows a little bit of who she would have been if she had a family who loved her: a little bit shy, polite, classy, and has a love of writing. She knows that if the scientists found out that she was starting to have personality that didn't involve killing there would be no end to the amount of tests they would do to get her back to being a killing machine, so she hides it from everyone, including Marc, though only because she's trying to protect him: Marc would never tell on her, and if they found out that he knew and didn't tell her then not only would they keep him away from her, they would punish him harshly, and she couldn't let that happen.
Appearance: Faiths fur is very odd if you inspect it too closely. Its a light gold color with darker colored cheetah spots all over. Though they are darker many citizens will over look it seeing as it isn't too dark, and that everything else from a quick glance, makes her look like a normal citizen: her fur is shaggy, and well looked after.
Her face seems to be a good mix of all of her breeds. Faith's ears are like a lions: rounded, fuzz inside of them, and huge. Though at time they look odd on her small frame, it extends her hearing range a few more feet then most would expect. Bright green eyes are a dead give away that she is part panther, that's why whenever outside she has to wear brown contacts. The rest of her face, the structure, and the teeth, look like a cheetahs. But luckily for her it can easily seen as a lions face, and teeth as long as the person isn't looking for cheetah in her face.
Her body structure is a bit odd. She was designed to have the flexibility of a black panther, the strength of a lion, and the speed of a cheetah. Though she has all of those things the only one that shows is the black panthers. She has a slim waste, big paws, and a panthers tail that makes her every move look graceful and poised.
As for clothes, Faith doesn't really care, as long as it is comfortable, and she can move in it. Most of the time she wears jeaned shorts, a light, but tight t-shirt, sneakers, and a leather jacket for show.
Background:
Faith had no parents at all, instead she was the un-named experiment 528. The scientists took DNA samples from a random cheetah, black panther, and lion. They put the DNA together, and manipulated it so that they would get exactly what they want. Once they were finished making the DNA strand "perfect" they placed it into some liquid which acted like a mother womb. After 9 long months, Faith was "born." But she wasn't the only baby born that day: her "twin" Marc was too. His mother had given birth a day early, which surprised the scientists, but one of them was happy. The main scientist who worked on Faith, Mary, had gotten a bit attached to her, and didn't want her to be heartless, like how the scientist had planned at first. So she made sure that Faith and Marc raised together.
By the age of five, Faith loathed Marc seeing as he was weighing her down. She believed that if Marc weren't so slow that she would have been a few belts higher in Martial arts then she was now, and everyone would praise her. But she was stuck with him. The guy who complained about everything she loved: fighting, learning, and practically, hurting others. The only thing she hated, at that time, was the injections, and experiments. And that was the way Marc was able to be her "twin."
One day after classes, the scientists came for Faith, and like always she would run, and hide. But instead of them following her, and dragging her out, Marc interfered. He would let them have her, even after they threatened him he didn't stand down. In the end they called other Odyssians to take Marc away, and punish him, and took Faith anyway. But later that night, Faith waited for Marc to come back, and when he did come back he was obviously hurt. And from that day forward, Faith never left Marc's side unless it was dire.
Once they turned 13, Marc, and Faith were separated seeing as that they didn't want mutant babies from those two just yet. But luckily they saw each other in some classes, every meal, and any free time they had. By the time Faith was 15 she was a 4 th degree black belt, and a skilled spy. At first they wanted to use her as a mother, but it was too wasteful of a skill, so instead they made her into a spy/honey pot. Though, Faith had a hard time grasping that she was going to be a honey pot, seeing as she wasn't attracted to any guy other then her twin, she was pretty pleased that her training wouldn't go to waste.
On her 18th birthday, she was considered a complete success, and was sent on a small mission. At that time she discovered how much she wanted a family, and that she could write really well. After that discovery she was always eager for her next mission no matter what it was.
