Character Name: Halo Tufin (TOO-fin)
Gender: Male

Species/Breed: Red Panda
Current Occupation: ArcAngel Pilot
Personality: Halo is a tough red panda, despite his cuteness and natural chubbyness. Though, his tough exterior is mostly shown on the outside. On the inside, he's a kind, caring furre though. He only shows his side of the moon to people he can trust though, generally closer ones to him. Friends, trustworthy coworkers, and some family.
His tough and in-command attitude is shown mostly during aerial missions, ranging from dogfights to escorts, he's always on-the-spot and open-eared. He too has a sad side, just like most other furres, but he keeps it under control. Mostly... He has his heart shatterings when teammates die in combat, or even when one of his pet ferrets die.

He has the same fur patterns and build as any other red panda you'd see around St. Lucent, which aren't that many with them being a rare species. A burned orange colour of fur covers most of his body, except for his arms, legs, and underbelly for the most part, which are a black colour. The inside of his ears, and on his face are white, as well as the rings on his tail. Though, they are black as well with his underbelly.
Aside from having the natural and normal fur patterns of his species, he does have his chubbyness as said eariler. But also, he has a muscle build from all of the physical training he went through to become a pilot ArcAngel. His eyes are a shining blue, standing out greatly against his fur tones.
Returning to his eyes, they actually aren't his real ones. Due to The Sacrifice, he was ordered to give something up. Knowing he would soon and eventually become a pilot, he gave up his eyes for new ones. They instead give him optical zooming, and targeting which is wired to his plane to lock on with gunfire and missiles.
Background: Halo basically grew up in the Angels. Both of his parents were Angels, his mother specializing in medical care, and his father a pilot as well. He grew up in a middle class of wealth, mostly admiring his father's work and wanting to be just like him. He had many friends in school, and was excelling quite well for a child his age, and when he started junior high, they were actually considering pushing him up a grade. He declined though, saying that his friendship was more important than stupid marks. It was around this time, at age 13 that he joined the Air Cadets, learning all about flying and the "Do's and Don't's."
By the time of graduating high school, Halo immedietly applied to become an Apprentice to an Angel, and somehow even with his body fat, passed. He was given to an egotistic wolf who reluctantly accepted the red panda under his arms. The wolf (who will remain nameless under his own consent) practically made the poor raccoon-relative do everything. Dishes, laundry, cooking and even bathing the bastard when he was in a mood. Halo often wondered if the wolf was actually a herm and was having his (hir?) period.
Soon though, after a few years of "fun", he was given the order to pick a sacrifice for the upcoming ritual. He wanted to be trained under the ways of ArcAngels, so he thought about giving up his arms or legs for enhanced robotic ones, or his ears for super-duper hearing. But, though he did want that special training for deadly purposes, he also remembered his dreams of becoming a pilot like his dad. When the time came, he sacrificed his eyes to the gates, getting robotically enhanced ones in their place.
Starting out as a Fledgling with new eyes was hard, especially learning how to fly the Angel's jets with his new eyesight, and trying not to zoom in on passing female's... assets. They threw him through hardass drills, both for piloting and ArcAngel-ship, and Halo was almost killed multiple times, from either flying into another place during fake combat, or fighting his Arc trainers. He remained a Fledgling for four years, and when he was finally promoted to ArcAngel pilot, he was esctatic. His dreams had finally come true, and for the next three years--bringing us to the present--he has done jobs both in the air, and on the ground.
