Personality: Lanna is quietly intense in her view, life, and love preferring to not draw attention to herself unless she wants it. As a relatively new member of the staff at the Collegium for Fine Arts, a subsection of The University of West Lucent, she still loves her work and throws herself into the study of early anthromorphic sculpture. She has a knack and a vigor that place her as a favorite of her students, though she has been known to sleep with the more attractive members of her incoming class, not discriminating on species or gender.
When she is not working or teaching she is attending balls, galas, and banquets for her causes. A strong advocate for the Rights of Mixed Species, she uses her connections to ensure that not only the "pure" family members get the high placed jobs and positions. She is flirtatious and coy, and is more than willing to play on her looks and background to get what she wants in the most non-threatening way, at least to outside eyes. She is, as of yet, unmarried with little interest in being tied down, or losing her most beneficial attributes. Charismatic as she is out in the world, she is very private about her problems, confiding little in anyone of any importance. If pushed too far she will become very nasty, and on a few occasions when beneficiaries let themselves roam a bit too much she was not to "coy and delicate" to put her very clawed foot down.
Appearance: Her creamy coat and dark patterning present a striking contrast to her emerald eyes. She generally keeps her coat trimmed so that she does not have the devastating maintenance of her naturally thick winter coat, and so that her natural curves show through. Well endowed she does not shy away from drooping bust lines, and tight fitting dresses. Though, usually during classes she can be found wearing more comfortable jeans and paint/clay covered tees. Her patterning is small, with the rosettes of her face being fractured and curved, accentuating her rich eyes and ivory teeth. She is always wearing jewelry of some kind ranging from amethyst to opal, but never rings as she has taken the time to get silver casings for her claws. Her spotted ears sport three silver hoops, and one more in her bellybutton. She stands nearly six feet tall, if she stretches herself, with her tail being around three quarters of her over all height.
Background: Lanna's mother and father were both professors before her and readily encouraged her to pursue teaching as well. Though, the wealth of the family came from her mothers inheritance of her grandfather's cloth business. This extra money allowed for frivolity and exploration that originally would not have been allowed for. From the time she could walk they started on her learning her alphabet as well as counting and basic spelling, but her favorite pastime was drawing. As she pursued her passion in secondary school Lanna began to show a substantial knack for sculpting, and by the time of graduation her work was on display in several of the galleries in the city.
Attending the University West Lucent she managed to complete her four years of classes in three and half, graduating with the art department's offer for her to return for her graduate work. It was during this time that both her mother and father passed away from medical issues, leaving her to herself and the family wealth, which she used moderately to further her own means. This was also the point at which the distinction between pure species hire and mixed was becoming impossibly noticeable, bringing Lanna's foxy, animitarian persona to life.
