Hangar: A hidden underground facility that contains multiple armored suits as well as the facilities to service, arm, and launch them. At this point in time the Hourglass guild has no idea of it's existence, however there is a secret program to recruit, and train pilots for these suits should the need to use them arise. The suits are held in place by a set of locks that only disengage when the suit has been activated. The doors to the hangar are 6" steel and concrete with a lead lining to foil GPR as well as metal detectors.

Who would be going to fund this? If the Angels aren't aware of it, would it be the Church/a company/the Council/the Foundry who controls this?

It is funded and controlled by the council, and it explains the red suit. After all, you didn't think that karanass was working on his own did you? That would be impossible because these kinds of things are beyond his budget

Alright, I think this whole mech thing is going over board. Angels may be technologically advanced, but this is not "Transformers". This is a beautiful and wonderful forum that many people have worked hard on to set the whole feel, and correct me if I'm wrong, but a hanger is not going to help. This whole idea of robots and stuff does not fit. I'm not trying to shoot down all your ideas or anything, take it as constructive criticism, but I think you can come up with better things to help Angels. We all participate here, and I refuse to let this continue. I may not be someone important or anything, but I am putting my foot down. Angels is a work of art made by those who write it, let's not screw it up by over looking the original idea. In my opinion St. Lucent should not have a hanger for an army of murdering, half-crazed, pointless robots, and hopefully never will.

that's why it was just an IDEA idea=hypothetical.

I know but this whole thing needs to be given more thought. And I just don't think enough has been given to this whole mess...

Yeah, I really don't think mecha's fit into the world I have created from the start, it would be out of place, sort of like a Tolkein Elf in a potter film or a Death Star in Narnia.
Have you noticed how slim and sleek the technology is, and how though there are lots of anthros with weapons and armour being built into them, there's not very much reliance on "mechanical warfare".
St. Lucent also isn't big enough to house/hide them anywhere either, and the rest of Catori dosen't have that kind of technology. Maybe some kind of special tanks and smaller 'robots' would abound, for spying, deactivating bombs, controlling computer systems ect. But I don't see the merit in strapping yourself into a giant robot in St. Lucent.

also, their not really mechs, they're actually powered armor (worn, not piloted. 10 to 12' tallMAX)
a deep enough shaft, dug in secret could house them underground though.

I understand, I'm a hard core gamer myself. I favor mostly fantasy games that have a strong RP sense, good music and graphics, but I have reviewed a lot of other games. What's your favorite stuff?

I really enjoy mech games like Zone of the enders, Armored core, And Steel Battalion. But at the same time I also enjoy survival/horror games like silent hill, dead space, and to a lesser extent, F.E.A.R

I have no objection of armored suits as long as they are not essentially mecha's and their power is within constraints (as in, they are not all powerful killing machines that could be responsible for genocides).
Though I have to say, there'd probably be, oh a handful in St. Lucent, mass production of these things would require too much money.

That is true, probably at most I'd say that there are, oh 10 to 12 of them, and the absolute limit of their armor is against light anti tank weapons, however hitting them would be somewhat of a tricky proposition. because they're pretty quick, their main weapons are either a wrist mounted gun and blade, or an energy charged lance and 30mm assault rifle. Not so much an army ,think more of it being an elite squad, two of the 12 have the lance and rifle, they're the command units, Karanass has one, and whoever you approve of has the other. standard units are either NPC's or other people who you approve. static4.animepaper.net/upload/thumbs/wallpapers/Zone-Of-The-Enders/%5Blarge%5D%5BAnimePaper%5Dwallpapers_Zone-Of-The-Enders_Ferio_31745.jpg, this is the standard unit, (10 of these[green and brown]) www.freewebs.com/farban/anubis.jpg this is Karanass's command unit. (one of these[red and black]) www.ps2fantasy.com/games/zoe/review/neith.jpg this is the other command unit, whoever wants it can PM Rook (1 of these[white and blue]) -the pics were too board stretching-

Well that's really beside the point. Besides your robot running a muck, there are no others, understand? Its been decided and there's no point in making this thread any longer. If you do have anymore suggestions, please talk it over with Rook privately. But I think this has gone far enough. Have a good evening...
