Character Name: Kale
Gender: Male
Age: Twenty-Three
Species/Breed: Maned Wolf
Current Occupation:It varies. Kale tends to get fired a lot. One day he could be a busboy, and then the next a professional Brick-Chucker.. or something. Again, it varies.
Personality:
There are many words that can be used to describe this fellow; dead-broke, jerk, liar, abusive, selfish. All of these apply to him in some way or another. Kale is not a saint, he's quite far from it. But to cut him some slack, Kale's not the worst guy in the world. He's even got one or two good traits. That's got to count for something, right?
Let's see, where to start. Well, with this one, one of the most defining traits he has is his low tolerance to.. annoying things. He gets irritated quickly and when irritated he is prone to violence. Kale doesn't have much that will set him off. You throw one insult, even a really bad one, at him, and he will, or try to, hit you. He usually is annoying, though.(it's okay because he's the one doing it) He doesn't quite know when to shut up. Especially when not shutting up could get him hurt. He thinks (for the most part) before acting, but before speaking he is without thought beforehand. He just wings it. (WIP))
Kale likes act like he thinks he is bad ass. Acts. He doesn't actually believe this. It's quite the contrary, he has extreme self image issues. He hates who is is and what he's made of himself in life, but won't ever let anyone know it. Just like he won't let anyone see him cry.
Appearance:
Kale isn't necessarily short, he's just.. un-tall. He stands roughly 5'6'' tall. (that's not counting his ears and hair, counting them, it puts him at a whopping 5'8'') He's got a lanky, out of proportion look to him. He has long limbs and torso, and a Mohawk-esque thing, which just makes him look odd. Kale's colouration and markings are that of a standard maned wolf; mostly orange, black to brown limbs and neck, and white tail and throat. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Except for on his head and neck, his fur is relatively thin. Which, is kinda funny, seeing as he lives somewhere as, y'know, cold, as St. Lucent. But, hey, can't change genetics, right? Doesn't matter though, nothing that multiple layers of clothing can't fix! On an average day, Kale'll wear three to four or five layers. More or less depending on the weather. As for the rest of his wardrobe, baggy trousers and t-shirts are abundant. He has the fashion sense of a dead fish, so he rarely ever matches. (he even has his own former band's t-shirt)
Probably one of Kale's more striking features would be the ''dents'' he has in his muzzle. It looks as tough someone hit him over the nose a few times with a baseball bat. (it was the leg of a chair that did it, actually) He has a few other notable scars, too, but they're usually hidden. But for the sake of filling up space I'll write 'em up.
This one is easy to spot if you ever happen to see Kale without a shirt (it's unlikely that you will), there's a small patch of hair on his stomach where the hair refuses to grow. His step sister tried to set him on fire when he was sleeping some time during his childhood. He's missing his a toe on his left foot, he honestly forgets what happened there. He has others, but they're hidden under fur. (read: I'm too lazy to write about any more)

-Born into wealthy family; Mother and first step-father
-Ages: 0-4;Cared for by nanny, received only necessary attention.
-Age: 4;Mother divorces step-father, remarries another wealthy man. Spends most of his time locked in a small dark room.
-Age: 5; Mother divorces once more, doesn't remarry yet. Mother often abuses him verbally; calls him bad names, etcetera.
Age: 6; Verbal abuse from mother continues. Starts school. Doesn't fit in well with other children. Mother marries once more, this one is also well off.
Age: 7-9; Doesn't see parents much. Typically stays locked in his room. Begins to get bullied in school more; both physically and verbally.
Age: 10; Half-sister, Katerina, is born. Mother pays much more attention to her and actually cares for her. Starts to fight back in school more. Is often in trouble.
Age: 11-15; Still gets in fights at school, home life still is not too good.
Age: 16; Katerina sets his stomach on fire while he is asleep. Has a nice scar there. Makes his first friend at school, an opossum named David. Verbal abuse at home and school still continues, gets in less fights.
Aged: 17; Starts a psychobilly/punk band with David and two of his friends, Carson and Nathan. They are called Six Feet Down. They play at bars, clubs, and what not.
Age: 18; Leaves home, moves in with David.
Age:19; Moves out of David's flat.
Age: 22; Six Feet Down falls apart after he gets in a huge fight with Carson. Where he got the dents in his muzzle. Works various jobs, lives in crappy flat with flatmate.
