Tendra examined a booth filled with an assortment of fruits. Then she looked at a lengthy list in her hands. She picked up an apple, examined it, then put it back. Why she volunteered to go grocery shopping for the orphanage, she didn't know. She hated shopping even for herself.
She picked the apple up again and looked at the shopkeeper. "How much?" She asked the bear.
"Five bucks a pound."
Tendra scowled. "Why so expensive?"
"There's been a shortage b'cause of the cold. You gonna buy some or what?" The bear growled.
"Fine, fine. I'll take three pounds." She dug out her wallet and counted out fifteen dollars. She handed it to the bear and was handed a bag filled with fruit. She nodded her head in thanks and walked off. "I better get paid well this week." She muttered.

Zarek was in the market that day looking for parts for a new experiment when a flash of bright colors caught his eye. Looking around he watched as a ferret thing walked though the crowd of people that always milled around the Market place. Seeing that a girl carried a large bag of fruits his curiosity was caught.
Why would a person need so many apples? He decided to take up the case and began to trail the woman always keeping at lest twenty feet behind. Zarek knew that as an Angel he could be doing more important things than follow someone that was more than likely not to cause any problems. It was a slow day though so he forgot about his shopping and took up the chase.

Tendra examined the list in her hands while balancing the bag of apples on her leg. "Lessee here, what I need next is...Nothing! No more work for me today!" She said with a chuckle. She shoved the crumpled piece of paper back into her pocket and shifted her load back into her arms. She started to walk off.
Tendra looked behind her. She felt like she was being followed. But, seeing nothing more than the usual crowd, she shrugged her shoulders and continued walking. She was just paranoid, that's all. "Man, this bag's heavy." She muttered to herself. Spying a bench just a few feet away, she scurried over and sat down, placing the fruit beside her. Just a quick rest would do, she deserved it.

When she looked behind her Zarek melted into the crowd. So maybe he was being more of a stalker than an Angel; however, could he really help that? After all it was curiosity that killed the cat, and he was a big cat. As she moved over the the bench he saw his chance. He could ask her his question and leave, simple as that. Anyone who knew the tiger however would know that he was just kidding himself.
Walking forwards Zarek almost seemed to slid up to the bench. "Excuse me, but I could not help but notice a brilliant colored flower walking along today with an armful of apples. I was wondering, have you perhaps seen anyone that matches this description?" Angels weren't allowed to have relationships outside the Guild, but that wouldn't stop this one tiger from flirting.
