Athos shrugged, hoping this wasn't going to be one of those moments where the two seraphs decided they could exchange pleasantries and discuss what went on as if he didn't exist. So far it looked like the new arrival had a genuine interest though, which hopefully meant he'd be able to head back home soon and examine all the damage. "Thanks for coming so late at night. Have you been told any details of what happened... though I don't see how that could be possible really... or would you like me to explain what all happened again?" The sooner all of this was over the better. Athos didn't want to admit it but he was tired as hell after everything tonight.

Dana always made Aidith happy. Adequately polite and showing respect for order she'd go places perhaps this aging elk could not manage in this world. The briefest smiled flashed to the young weasel before a jovial cottontail snatched a hand and quickly moved to the point. First things first she snatched her hand back. “I am quite well Seraph Gabriel. I am grateful for your concern but it is my pleasure as well as my responsibility to look into this incident.” She shifted attention to the wounded ophidian as he piped up and walked to his bedside. “The hour is of no concern. If you would not mind, it would be most helpful if you provided me with a brief account of what happened.”
She had, by this time, removed from her bag a small tablet and a stylus, placing her bag at his bedside. Aidith was old but not necessarily outdated. These new fandangled keyxi were merely too intrusive and the external equivalent suited her just fine. Her stylus waggled about as she prepared herself for his account and looked into possibly finding more information within the Angel's data files. Already she had almost completely disregarded her fellow Seraph for the matter at hand but there was no doubt he'd soon re-alert her to his presence. Her eyes raised from her tablet to fixate onto the reptile once again awaiting his story. Her down turned nose and high rested pupils gave her the glaring look of expectancy. Much like a principal awaiting confession or even a librarian telling one to keep quite. Though keeping quite is far from what she expected from him.

Athos kept it brief, outlining the main events very clearly. Going home, getting in, having someone kick in the door, going to stop the intruder which led to being thrown out a window and seeing metal. Then the noises in his home, and walking to the hospital where they picked glass out of his back and took care of some other minor bumps and scrapes. "Still no idea what the attacker was looking for, if there was a real purpose or if it was just a random attack. And doubt it's related to my job at Groves either... but can't be certain. Wasn't exactly eager to try and walk back into my home and ask what was going on." Athos paused in his story, looking around. "Anybody got a cup of coffee?"

Gabriel looked up quickly from counting the threads in his night gown while humming "Twinkle twinkle little star". "Coffee?" he asked interestedly, "I should like a nice cup of coffee. Or maybe a cup of tea...they are both equally desirable. But I say, Miss Karrigan! Isn't this such a befuddling story? It most certainly isn't normal in any way, shape, or form. I don't quite know what to make of it, tell you the truth. But at any rate, I was talking to the bathroom earlier and it decided that it has decided to take its roost here. So, Mr. Athos, you shan't have to worry about it running off on you, like it did me."
Dana could only shake her head at her charge, the poor, aging, crazy rabbit. He needed to get back to sleep soon, otherwise his schedule would be thrown off. However, neither she nor the rabbit really wanted to leave at all. They were both very interested in hearing how things turned out.

The words came and the stylus bobbed and weaved above the tablet. Taking notes, and gathering references as the snake, again shared his tale. Her mind was a tizzy of information and yet kept everything in order or at least enough for her to make sense of it all. He finished his tale and already she knew someone with greater detective abilities would be helpful but at 2 am that can't much be helped. There were details, things that felt like they were missing and his story sounded a good deal suspicious but it was his story and he seemed to stick with it. The mention of coffee got the small vulpine in a tizzy of his own and lightly startled the elk. He eyes peered at him through fleshy corners as the last flick of her stylus crossed the technological notepad. The both remained in their respective hands as they crossed in front of her.
The best Aidith could do to handle those with mental and conversational irregularities was to ignore those statements that were entirely irrelevant to the conversation. “I must agree with you Seraph Mentioff. It is most puzzling the situation Mr Teer has found himself in. Though there does seem to be some correlation between his regrettable evening and recent reports. But, as Mr Teer has said there is no way as of yet to determine the cause of this attack. It's solution will require much more intensive inquiry that I cannot facilitate here.” If given the time she would have to call someone under her charge to perform a real investigation.

Athos smiled, noticing a nurse entering with a pot of coffee and some plastic cups. The moment she set it down he quickly picked it up and poured two cups, passing one over to the slightly demented Gabriel. "Here, have a cup of coffee. Careful, it's still a bit hot." After taking a sip or two from his own cup Athos turned his full attention once again to the three guests. "So I'm guessing there's very little chance of going home tonight? Alright, if that's the case then I'll try to remember anything or find whatever details I can that might be of assistance. Then we may as well all just get some sleep right? No point going out to try and deal with something like this if you're just going to fall asleep in the process."

As Gabriel reached for the coffee, Dana put her hand out. "Sir, it's two in the morning. I don't think it's the best idea that you have coffee right now."
As the rabbit pouted, she turned to the other two in the room. "If Gabriel's and my services are no longer needed, I do think it is time I be sending him back to his room to sleep. He has had quite an unmedicated adventure tonight, and it should best not be repeated. He really must sleep."
She sounded like the mother of a four year old, but Gabriel's mentality was not much above that, except when he burst out in times of brilliance. However, tonight was not one of those times.
While Dana was speaking, Gabriel hummed absentmindedly, looking around the room. "I shall dream of butterflies and hurricanes," he said vapidly. It would be obvious to anyone that he really needed to be getting off and leaving to bed.

The tablet made one last note and then everything that came out was put right back in. The tablet nestled back into the bag as Aidith gathered her things to leave. “You are both quite right. We should all be getting some sleep. It's quite early in the morning and I have some work to do.” She was a sly one with words. Lucky for her this call meant she had things to preoccupy her time with tonight.
Aidith did her best to aid Dana in herding the loony rabbit. She wouldn't dare touch the man but she'd use her presence as a deterrent. She walked her way to the door and paused waiting for the rabbit to leave first. “Rest yourself Mr Teer. I shall personally see to the conclusion of this mystery. I appreciate your assistance and any more information you can provide is much appreciated.
The rest of the night would be spent at home locating a investigator among the guild to send out in the morning.
