Gesine walked into the church a long trench coat wrapped around her that bulged at the front. “Ok, time for you to get down.” Opening the coat a small squirrel monkey crawled down from where it had been clinging on her chest.” Making sure the six-year-old was settled in place the rabbit moved over to one of the priests.
Turing around the polar bear smiled, “Gesine, how wonderful it is to see you.” Looking over her shoulder he frowned when he noticed the little monkey. “Is that another one you found? You know that we can only devote so much of our money to you and the children.”
“No father, I am only watching him for a woman. She is at a job interview right now. I came today because I have to have some reason to be on your pay roll. I do not think the Angels would approve for you paying a criminal for not working.” She replied with a smile. The rabbit had yet to be caught, but there had been some close calls.
“Alright then, you can work by cleaning around. You know we don’t need your help. Perhaps you feel you need to do this because of your ill deeds towards your fellow man?” The bear asked her.
“I know what you are trying to do. Come towards the light and all that jazz. It won’t work though. I have come close to hitting rock bottom too many times to know what the light is anymore.” Winking at the priest she moved back to the monkey.
Explaining about what was going on Guess sent him off to explore the church, as long as he didn’t go too far from the main chapel. After pulling out a sucker and giving it to the kid she went to where all the cleaning supplies where kept.
Pulling out a key that hung around her neck she unlocked the door. It sickened her that the things in the church had to be kept under lock and key. She didn’t know who would want to steal from a house of the lord. Finding some wood polish and a rag she left the storeroom making sure to lock it behind her before she began to clean.

Micheal stared into the child's bright, bulging eyes and felt a shudder of excitement that he hid flawlessly, though he did allow himself a wider smile encouraging more trust from this...beautiful specimen.
The creature was practically bursting with curiosity and life, the combination of monkey and squirrel had produced this little racing ball of electric energy , Micheal opened his mouth briefly and was almost overcome by the smell of the child, he wanted to snatch him right then and there and sink his teeth deep into the little boy's throat, and hear the satisfying crunch that came with it. He usually could stand to wait past the experiments and build the necessary tension, but this...
This youngster took in everything and was fascinated and frightened by the lion, was smart enough to be so. Micheal talked to him in an innocently soft tone, and looked down on him with a false sense of fatherly affection, he couldn't divine what he was talking about, something about kites and skyboards, the useless chatter was only an excuse to watch the child move, more specifically his wide eyes...
What a specimen!

Moving into the chapel Gesine couldn't help but notice the way the lion was looking at the kid she was watching. Most people would miss the look, but this man was not hiding it very well. Seeing as there was no one around he didn't need to. A shiver ran down the rabbit's spine as she thought of when she had first seen that look.
"What they hell are ya doin'? Yeh know yeh're not to talk to strangers!" She called to the boy who looked up at her. She had slipped into the rougher tone of the streets but she didn't care. "Yeh get your arse over here now." Pointing to the spot next to her she smacked the monkey on the head when he came close. "Now yeh go find one of the fathers and talk to him."
After the boy had scampered off she moved over to the lion. "I'm sorry for the little one. He is just has so much energy in him. Can't leave well enough alone." Guess slipped back into a more upper class way of talking. She knew how to work around people that had money.

The lion observed her closely, and accompanied it with a well played small, regretful smile as he saw the monkey be shooed away harshly. "Oh, that's fine, he's very smart, pretty serious little fellow though, you wouldn't know it by first looking at him". He turned his soft blue eyes on her and straightened up, the lion's whiskers twitched.
"Are you a relative"? He knew from her scent she was not, but it was an expected question.

"Do I look like one?" She sat on the arm of the pew across from him. "I sure hope not, because then I would have to believe that I am not a rabbit at all, and I like who I am just fine." She tossed the rag over her shoulder and crossed her legs the black shirt she was wearing sliding up her leg.
"No, I'm not related. I am just being a good person and watching him while his mom tries to get a job. Bringing the kid along can ruin a persons chance of getting anything decent and law abiding. Of course following the rules isn't always the most fun." Leaning forwards her bangs slid in front of her eyes. Was it her fault that she could she this man had money. If she could just get back to his place she could grab something a go. She was sure she could get a nice wad of cash off of anything she took.

Oh girlie, I could make you hurt for that. Micheal was amused by her spirit, but her tone awoke a sense of challenge in him. He watched her motions, his blue eyes sparkling with renewed interest, his money held out for her, it was stitched in the soft fabric of his shirt and pants, hidden in his chilled, silky white fur and displayed openly in his wide, kind blue eyes.
All she assumed she needed to do, was reach out and take it. He felt like a hunter perceiving the movements of a fox, an endless cycle of trickery, this diddn't excite him as much as the kid would have but she was far more appealing to his baser interests, less sharp than the other ones but they were still there. Besides he could actually listen to what she said. Stupid clever girl, what next? Show me a little cleavage?, No need. Dr. Jacques is a gentleman, and he's overwhelmed.
Micheal pretended to look away embarrassed while offering his name. "My name is Jacques, and I'm here for confessional".

She wanted to snort at his name. It was just as pompass as the clothes he wore. "Nice to meet you Jacques. My name is Gesine, though most people call me Guess. I'm sorry about the skirt." Pulling it down she looked at the ground. "It is a little short, but all my other stuff is dirty. I've got to do laundry soon." The blush was enough for her. Cleavage could come later.
"So here for confessional eh. By the look of your clothing you're not from the east side. What brings you here today." Cocking her head to the side Guess's earrings clinked together softly. "Don't think I am pushing you to tell me anything. You don't have to answer the question seeing how it was a little rude. I just was wondering. You don't see many people like you around these parts."

Micheal was impressed by her acting abilities, and it was time to polish off his own, like her, they helped to keep him alive, if any Angels found out about his operation he was quite sure he wouldn't be privileged with prison, it'd be his guts all over the expensive marble flooring.
He offered her a shy smile "No, it's alright, it's not any big reason, just...some... misplaced curiosity to atone for and..." he smiled "I have to say I can be snobby a lot of the time, anyway I mostly wanted to see this place, the architecture is unique...as well as the Council's...opinion of it." his eyes glinted with mischeif. "I had to check it out after hearing so many...interesting stories".
He stared at one of the stained glass windows, depicting not any religious symbol, but that of a spider, every hair artfully crafted in glas, enclosed in a red hourglass, he could tell his face was tinted red by it, and he wished he could have seen it for a laugh.

"Yes, but most are wild tells. I have been here plenty of times to know that rumors can never be trust. This is a holy place and not one for war." She knew plenty about St. Ethel's and she tried to protect it. There where too many people who would like to see the Angels fall and take this place down with them.
A squirrel walked in and Guess pointed to the back. "He is talking with one of the father's." As the woman went to get her son the rabbit smiled at Micheal. "Well, it looks like I don't have to baby sit any longer. It was nice talking to you." Standing up she flashed his some cleavage, he'd have to ask her to stay if he wanted anything.

Micheal felt himself suppress a hiss of indignant rage, so she was the type that hung things out before people and snatched them away? You need to be called, bitch? I'll call you.
He translated his uneasy expression into one of nervousness as he sat up, his tail lashing out behind him and his whiskers twitching.
"Wait". He said awkwardly. "I'd like to get to know you better".

Flipping her hair over her should Guess smiled at him. "I think I could give you some time. I mean after all you did give me your time. I can only return the favor." Turning the rest of the way around she moved over to him and took his arm in her's. "How much more would you like to get to know me?" She grinned up at him her green eyes looking right into his.
This was too easy. She almost felt sorry for the man as he played into her hands. It was like taking candy from a baby, only this time the kid didn't cry out in protest. In fact, by the way he was acting she was sure he wanted a lot more than she would ever give to a man she didn't love.

Micheal blinked at her unruly expressions and he returned it with a calm, seemingly clueless little smile. "Well for one thing I want to know why your in the church, and I'd be interested in hearing about how a person in East Lucent lives their lives". He diddn't even try to come off as though he wasn't attracted to her, though he did sprinkle a dash of naivety into his smile, his slouch, the way he held his hands. It made him look young, nervous and overwhelmed, exactly how he wanted to look.
His blue eyes were turned on her soft as ever "I'd like to get to know you very much, and I'd like it if you came over to dine with me".

"I can do that. Then over the meal I can answer all your questions about East Lucent. I hope I can help you answer all your questions. I'll tell you why I am in the church though. I help out around here. The people here are good to me so I am good to them and help out as much as I can. I feel that for the mistakes I make in the world I can make them up here. Shall we?"
She was trying to get him out of the church. The faster she moved this along the faster she could dump this loser and look for her next victim. It was getting late anyway and she needed to go shopping soon; then go back home to feed the kids.

Micheal's snow white fur was reflected dimly in the red of the light, it's purity made it cast a distinctly red shade, except around the sharp rigid features where the black of the spider's body collected in an hour glass shape of it's own, and for a moment, looking at her and feeling the saliva build inside his neatly closed jaws he felt a tension so tight build up inside him that he visioned running at her, feeling her strong arms flail, as she dug her teeth and claws into him trying to get away, but however she beat or bit it wouldn't have made a difference, he could see his own expensive teeth stained in blood, perhaps short an eye, still a kill was a kill. How it would feel to have killed her, and snuffed out such a bright twisted spirit right then and there.
But there were practicalities to consider, her healthy, wiry body made her ideal for his experiments, her fearlessness would be shattered of course but she'd be more fun once subdued. Hell she could even live, for a while, ....live. These thoughts delighted him, though it could easily be passed off as pleasant surprise at her agreement, there was something disconcerting about his smile, coupled with those soft blue eyes.
Voices swung in and out of focus but he could clearly hear the crawling tap of his own claws on the polished stone as he turned.
"Come on then, I'll get us an air taxi and a..." his whiskers twitched in amusement "a bite".

Guess let out a small little shiver when he smiled. It wasn't that she was afraid of him it was just that the light streaming through the stain glass window cast almost a bloody glow onto them. If she was smart she would take that as a sign, especially after she had caught him with the little monkey.
"That would be lovely." She replied to him scooting closer so that her breasts pressed against his body. "How did I get so lucky to meet you here today? It must be fate or something." Looking at his through down cast lids she gave him one of her most sultry looks.
