Species/Breed: Snake of undefined breed and unknown venom potency
Current Occupation: Freelance. Give him a job, and he'll do it for you. Tell him something needs to be done, give him money, and it gets done. He DOES have his morals though, but his morals are easily deterred with enough payment. Last known jobs from most recent to oldest are painter, carpenter, stripper, mechanic, and marksman.
Personality: If you're nice to him, Athos is nice to you. If you're a real pain in the butt, Athos will at least attempt to put you in your place. Freelance is the only occupation he can manage as Athos never seems to get along with a single boss for very long, always so pushy and demanding. Athos when not working is a slightly aggressive man who believes himself superior to all except the elite few of the city. Hey, he's confident but he's not stupid. All his attempts to fit in in the past have failed, so he tends to be on his own a lot. He also has a very odd compulsion to love anything in blue. It's his favorite color to the point of obsession.
Appearance: Athos isn't a huge man, standing maybe 5'11 and weighing in at somewhere close to 220. His scaley body has a few off color black bands around his chest and back, basically marking where his ribs are... an unfortunate trait for him when someone wants to break one of those ribs and he feels as if they're big bullseye markings. Aside from the black stripes... (don't ever call them stripes to his face, he doesn't like that) the rest of his scales are a mix of green and brown, both rather dull colors. When he has money Athos will buy fancy clothes, or something to fit his current occupation. He still has an old painter's smock, a sort of flack jacket from his marksman days, and some very highly insulated yet rather revealing articles of clothing he wore until catching a really nasty cold one day on the job as a stripper. If he isn't working Athos likes to have something blue as the top layer of his clothing... even a very odd blue tuxedo he saved up for and bought... no clue why he'd want one.
Background: I think you can guess at least a few parts of his background based on his former jobs. Athos tries to learn whatever he can throughout his life just in case an opportunity arises later on. He's been to... three different "schools" and ignores his immediate blood relatives. Athos wants to be on his own and apart from them. Besides, some of the things he's done in his life thus far are less than respectable and he doesn't want any of those actions coming back upon his family.
