Character Name: Jasper “Jazz” Redding

Personality: Cold, distant, dark. Those are the three descriptive words that have been used on Jasper since he gave up his voice for the Angels. But in truth, Jazz is actually kind and caring, at least to those he wants to treat that way. But when out on a mission, Jazz does become the three things people see him as most, especially when he doesn’t wear the device that lets people know what he’s trying to say, then, all you can tell about what he’s thinking is by the hand gestures he makes and the look he has on his face.
What he likes: Jasper like Jazz music, a pretty face that isn't scared of him, reading on his balcony in the early evening, finding the bad guy and watching over people.
What he hates: Jasper hates the Bad guys, and even the Council to some extent. He just finds it hard to put up with them and what they've done with his home.
What he hears: Jasper fears Arya leaving. Plain and simple, he's fallen for her, and he doesn't want to see her go, or get hurt in anyway possible.
Appearance: Standing six feet even and weighing a good one-eighty to one-ninety pounds, Jasper looks as intimidating as he thinks people see him. He is fairly muscular, and he tends to look even more bulky with all the layers that he wears when not inside. Jazz’s fur is a mixture between caramel and cream, with darker coloring around his nose and mouth, and his chest also has a white patch on it that looks similar to a handprint over his heart. Jasper’s eyes are a hazel color, with caramel and brown flecks in them, though the area around his pupil is a slightly darker caramel color than the rest of his eye. His hair, though, isn’t short as some would think it would be, instead, it hangs limp around his face in layers to his chin that come naturally whenever it comes time to get a haircut. You can usually find him walking around in two layers of decent clothing with a black hooded cloak, both on the clock, and off.
Background:Jasper was the only son to a pair of very serious and hardworking Doctors. Having been basically raised by himself because of his parents busy schedules saving people from certain death (at least, that’s what he thought) Jazz didn’t learn to speak very well, developing a stutter when he was very young. Over the years, Jazz’s stutter didn’t go away, and he was very grateful to be rid of his voice when it came time for his sacrifice to be an Angel.
Growing up with his stutter, only made Jazz more quiet during work and play, and when he graduated from high school, a terrible thing happened. His mother, Cecilia Redding, was taken from him by the hands of his own father, Rodney Redding. Just hours after the murder happened, Rodney was taken from Jazz, and the young Puma never saw either his father or his mother again.
After the house he grew up in was in livable condition again, Jazz started to rent out a few of the rooms while he was training to be an Angel, and now years after his last tenant, Arya
Giovanni has come to live with him, and as he has found out, he's very protective of the young woman.
