Personality: It is impossible to say exactly how the woman is the way she is. She is stoically calm by nature, remaining collected and at ease no matter what situation is presented to her. A bloody battle, an argument, being yelled at, watching someone in pain, she meets each with a steady gaze and an expressionless face. Emotion wise, Lilith rarely shows any. Perhaps a slight smile or frown every now and then, but whatever she may be feeling is never reflected in her voice, which is always soft and steady.
Lilith is a scientist, and believes all furre behavior has a scientific-backed explanation behind it. The psychologist considers it her duty to judge, standing above and beyond the petty arguments of the unenlightened. Her words are often odd, not only because her vocabulary is immense, but also because she strings them together in inoffensive ways. It is not uncommon for the bat to look over her glasses and answer an drawn-out emotion-filled speech with "Mhmm, and how does that make you feel?"
She has her quirks, Lilith very rarely uses anyone's first name, even if asked to, only using Mr. or Ms. She also is painstakingly clean, perhaps even a little obsessive compulsive.
Appearance: A tall willowy woman, Dr. Keroberus is not the athletic type. Her body looks dainty, slender, fragile even. Her fur is mostly dark ebony. With a blaze of earthy brown cross her breasts and down to her groin. A mantle of golden brown wraps around her slender neck and shoulders. Of course the bat has the characteristic wings of her species. The wing membrane is a lighter brown then her stomach, connecting her wrist to her hip with the membrane interconnecting each of her delicate fingers.
Lilith dresses to fit the cold weather of St.lucent, thick coats specialized for her species allow her wings and arms to function normally. Heat patches, normally used for reptiles, keep her wings protected from the bitter cold. Underneath the cold weather gear, the psychologist is a snappy dresser. Often wearing simple, attractive suits. Her golden red hair, now greying considerably, is pulled up in a tidy bun. Like all bats, Dr. Keroberus has very poor vision, sleek square frame glasses perch on the end of her nose.
Background: Lilith Strat was an orphan. No one seems to know what exactly happened to her parents but it is largely assumed they are dead. She was raised in an orphanage untill the age of nine where she was adopted by a man named Henry Keroberus, an upper-class aristocrat. It was he who taught her the aloof mannerisms she holds to this day.
For Mr. Keroberus was obsessed with image, how he appeared to his neighbors, what was currently in style, etc. He beat manners and quietness into Lilith. She was homeschooled until college rolled around. Very little socialization happened, as whenever her adopted father had visitors she was taught to not speak unless spoken to. At which time the bat went to West Lucent University, where she struggled to find her place in the world.
After a year of frustratration, Lilith found her niche. Psychology, the woman took to it like a fish to swimming. It also helped her learn how to function in the real world, and she gradually became better at socializing and less and less shy. She went on to get a master's degree and after running a private practice for some years the bat joined the council. She is now a full fledged member.
