Sarzah Hanson, as a young girl, always wanted to ride horses. She had shelves and shelves full of books about horses, and her room was decorated with them. Occasionally she managed to get a lesson or two on a neighbor's pony, but eventually she outgrew it and the neighbor moved away. Because of this, Sarzah barely managed to ride at all. She read her books over and over, and learned as much as she could about horses. When she turned 15, her parents finally came to their senses and bought her a horse. She began taking lessons and quickly became a brilliant rider.
One day she came back from a group trail ride at the stables, and there was a new boy. He was about her age but, unlike Sarzah, the boy didn't care much about horses. Sarzah took it upon herself to teach the boy how great horses really are. She showed him pictures of famous horses, and took him on constant trail rides. She even taught him to muck out stalls. Slowly, the boy named Jamey learned to love horses. Soon it was time to graduate from highschool, though. Jamey didn't really know what he wanted to do in his life, and Sarzah talked him into going to an equine college with her. The pair graduated from college together, and got married at the age of 21. They had kids, and built Pinewood Hills Equestrian together. A few years after it started, they opened the place up to the public, so that others could experience what they had, too.
At Pinewood Stables, everyone has a chance to succeed. Those who take up the chance will do well, but they must be willing to do their part. Will you be a groom? Own a shop? Be a champion rider, or help abandoned or lost horse? The choice is all yours, so use it well.
